I have a new story published: Slapstick. It’s a piece of high satire about a musician in a symphony orchestra. Well, really, it’s about class, but I’ll let you figure that out. It’s appearing in the December 2011 issue of FortyOunceBachelors, a great new funky lit mag from some cool people in Austin Texas. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Greetings! I hope you like my blog. I'm a writer. My short stories have appeared in seventeen literary journals and anthologies to date, most recently in the New Guard and American Fiction 14, and I have been a finalist in several contests, such as the Arcadia Short Story Contest. Hunting in the Dark, a flash novel, was published in October 2014 by Bartleby Snopes, and I have just completed my first novel, Ahnwee Days. Previous to writing fiction, I have had good success in non-fiction, most notably my book, Bi America (Haworth Press, 2005). View all posts by William
